Entering the Musee d'Orsay...

is such the grand experience. I wish I could have accentuated the woman on the walkway more, but I chose to do the entire scene instead. This museum needs five days, and we had less than an hour after taking our time in the Orangerie. This station was closed when I lived in Paris 30 years ago, and it opened after I left. I always wondered why it was not on my radar, and I kept hearing about how amazing it was! So much in Paris has changed, but in ways I really loved. This museum by far was the most impressive, but with a 14-year-old in tow, it was "too much" for a day that included two other big museums. Honestly, L'Orangerie was our favorite for size and quality!

Oh Paris, I so miss you.
Beautiful! I remember that building. The giant clock was under renovation so I couldn't get a good shot!

Why not take two shots? The first of the woman who obviously wasn't going to stay there forever and then the second of the whole scene which basically was not going to change. Either way it's a terrific view.

@grammyn I did just that, but focus was not great on other one (should have bumped up the ISO)
