Tsukiji Market Fileting Fish--Japan Series--Day 2 by darylo

Tsukiji Market Fileting Fish--Japan Series--Day 2

I have a great admiration for people who can prepare fresh fish from cleaning to producing the perfect filet. All of the fish in the market was so fresh. Yes, it gets a bit stinky, and I imagine the hands are so pruned from this kind of work. My only regret is that I didn't stop on my way out for a true sample of the sushi in the small restaurants. The long lines told me to pass and move onto the next adventure of the day.
Love how you composed this to show the fish and the man at work on them! what an experience for you!

Wonderful capture. Japan is on our list of places to visit. My husband has a plan for the next Rugby World Cup which will be there! :-)

It's such an art to get those fish ready for eating, and the Japanese are amazing at food presentation.
