I made a flyer for tonight's opening of the photography exhibit where I will be featured with other Atlanta photographers as part of Atlanta Celebrates Photography. It's a juried show with prizes and stuff too.
Last night, I attended my daughter's senior XC banquet, trying to relax my back and make it through the whole thing without pain. Two hours and by the time I got home, I just passed out in bed.
Tonight, I'm hoping to make it to the awards portion of the evening, but I have a feeling it may be too hard to do. So far today, my back is holding up, but it's just lunch time.
I had a good bit of news today also. Financial aid for two of the institutions where we are applying is not due yet (Jan!). So I only have one more to do before Nov. 1, and then I can take a break from that. What I have decided is that Americans should really be better versed in financial literacy before they go to college--I may audit an economics course in my "free" time in the next year, even if online. I hate that I'm 52, well-educated, and still stumped by the content regarding loans, assets, contributions, taxed, non-taxed, everything on these financial forms.
Terrific flyer showcasing your photographs. Best of luck to you I am certain you are going to come away with some prize. It sounds as if you are very slowly getting better in the paint area. Baby steps.
Oh, yes, those financial aid forms are really confusing. They used to be more straight forward, because I remember filling them out when I was in college. But, the ones we've had to fill out for my daughter are crazy. Beautiful shots, good luck in the exhibit!
Looks great!
