How Did I Get So Lucky?

I'm one lucky gal to have met Junko and Taffy in person. 365 is a magical place. Today, we three went on a drive that had many stops. At one point, I was playing portrait photographer for other tourists at a particularly beautiful pull out on the road. The whole time, we were laughing, playing around, discussing focus stacking, wondering what angles to take certain shots, and trying to find great photographic spots without having to hike too far (we were exhausted from our strenuous hike from the day before). The few days we have been together, we each have been photographing the other, and this is my shot of them today. I'm lucky, very lucky. This trip has been such a joy.
awesome shot and it is evident in your narratives how much fun you are having

I love how Taffy always looks like she was dressed for a walk in Chicago. And is it the wearing of black that drew Taffy and Junko into a friendship. LOL I tease. I have a girl friend who we constantly shop for a new pair of black slacks. Funny I took all black and gray on my last trip for ease of matching as I had limited space for clothes.

@joansmor -- We're sitting over here in our "cabin" and laughing and laughing! Yes, black clothes. We even have on the same black vests. Our glasses are similar, but at least our scarves are different. :) So you can tell us apart.

Daryl, I just love this photo of the two of us! And I'm laughing at @joansmor Joan's comment about always being dressed like Chicago. I cracked up -- these are the same clothes (same pants and a black t-shirt) that I'm in for almost every photo taken of me on photowalks...Junko just reminded me that these are the pants I wore in Japan, had in Greece, wore in Oak Park with Louise & Ken & JT, etc. Maybe time to mix it up? This has been a truly wonderful photo trip and great to get to know you in person.
