Behind! What's new? But I'm trying to post my tree shots so you can see what Taffy, Junko, and I were doing while waiting in bumper-to-bumper traffic at Cade's Cove (a 9 mile one-way loop in the Smoky Mountains, but in the valley area--supposedly, wild life runs amuck there--just not when the whole world is there--duh!).
The time together, though, was still amazing--we did roll up the windows, recycled the interior air and used the air conditioning because the "fresh air" was really going to kill us with all those gas fumes!
Thinking of using this for a "tree" theme for our photography club. Got good news last night also! My "Enter Here" photo won first place and I got $60! Woohoo!
Haha, sometimes the Great Outdoors is busy, it's just not that big. I bet just behind that tree line huge herds of Elk and Bison, loads of deer, Beavers, Chipmunks, a few Bears and the odd passing Mountain Lion were all sat around watching all these fume belching metal boxes sitting in their home.
I would have pulled over, let a tyre down and marched over to the forest looking for a garage and a mechanic to change my wheel. Of course I would have taken my camera and tripod, just in case anyone tried to take it from my broken down car.
Oh and they are lovely shots, prefer the B&W version.
I really like how your capture shows the two distinctly different two trees (instead of them running together like in my perspective) so you get the sense of mother and child.
