My first bunch of daffodils if this year. They are my favourite flowers and my husband buys me several bunches at this time of year.
The tradition started when my husband forgot to buy me anything for Valentine’s Day. I was young and unimpressed and was annoyed said that he could have just bought a bunch of daffodils! So guess what I get for Valentines Day now and have had for nearly 40 years.
So lovely! Smart husband. This is the only bulb the critters don’t eat in my garden so I have planted hundreds. Can’t wait. It will be three months before they come up.
