#111 some motion......

@SquamLoon Challenged me to try 3 things, this is my attempt at motion, not good. Found it hard to get anything looking as if it moved, spent half my lunch hour watching traffic, only way I could get anything to look in motion was to spin round myself! I tried panning, I tried altering the ISO, what am I doing wrong? Used to take good panning shots at the IOM TT races with an old kodak camera when I was young, but digital seems to freeze every motion.
@SquamLoon Sorry this is a pretty poor picture, can I try again? Think my waitress was a fluke!

Photography can be very time consuming, but you did well.

Photography isin´t always easy and it can be frustrating too, I had my share of that. Did you try slower shutter speed when panning?

@susale don't have shutter control I think?

It's a nice try though.

Hi Deni—I'm behind a day, but I'm back! I DO think you got a sense of movement here (although of course yesterday's is even better) It IS tough without a shutter speed adjustment.

I had a look at manual for your camera, and unless its dark and you use one of the night shot modes on your camera I think you will have trouble getting much motion blur. The shutter speed for this shot was 1/800s and that freezes most moving objects.

@primitiveprobe thank you, will try to use one of those settings as an experiment some time.
