@SquamLoon Well, this is a not bad attempt and achieved with my phone yet again, no prize winner here but it's got me thinking about motion shots certainly, b&w attempt tomorrow.
@SquamLoon Hi Jim, well this felt better when I achieved this on my phone again, which I'd done with the waitress shot. Also made me think a lot about how to get a motion shot on my camera. So wortth the effort and am now enjoying the challenge, how are you doing? sorry I asked you to take on street photography in a rural environment, it's hard enough round here! Still totally baffled by Boston, what a horrific event, a charity event, and no suspects yet? The world is mad somtimes.
This is great! I love all of the diagonal lines, and the splash of red. I guess the speed of the train was all you needed! :^)
Thanks for your kind words regarding Boston. I was at a conference yesterday in Concord NH (the closest "city", which made for some true street shots!), and was able to commiserate with a friend who actually ran the marathon and finished just minutes before the event. It was a really rough day for her.
