Another shot from the High Tea yesterday - it's no wonder the dear old folk at the rest home enjoyed it - such a variety of goodies. Mind you, the cook at the home is very good and they get tasty meals - hot lunch with pudding, then soup and something cooked for tea as well. Along with that, something home-made for morning tea.
I admire your nursing homes so much....every one I have seen looks a happy place.......I intend to move to NZ when I need one ....ha ha! Could get in with two sons living there! Only joking but it's tempting!
How wonderful; all those old-fashioned treats - angels on horseback, gems, meringues, sausage and asparagus rolls, cream sponge ….. This is a stunning shot too. Too many of these homes for the elderly just buy in everything frozen and heat it in a microwave.
