Little Alyssa, you were a sweet bundle of joy. Though you never had the chance to bloom, we trust that you are now in the loving arms of God, our creater. In our hearts and mind your life was cut short. Why? We will not know until that day we stand before Him face to face. Lord, we entrust little Alyssa into your loving care. Grant hearts your comfort and peace, and the ability to trust that in your arms she will bloom into the beautiful flower she was meant to be.
Earlier this evening we received the sad news that my Niece's little baby Alyssa passed away this morning. Apparently she never woke up. It appears she died as the result of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. We do not know all the details. I am asking my 365 friends for prayer. My Neice Jessica and her Husband Rodney, as well as my Brother Craig and their immediate family need support as they struggle through this difficult time. They did not live real close so I did not have the pleasure of ever holding this sweet little bundle, but through shared family photos, we knew she was a beautiful little doll. It is so sad. Thank you in advance.
What a beautiful photo, Rick. So sad about Alyssa. My husband and I will for sure add them all to our prayer list. What an awful thing to have happen. " Blessed are they who mourn, for they shall be comforted".... our God is able!.
Rick, please accept my condolances for your family's loss.
You are in my prayers tonight.
My thought are with your niece and her family at this sad time.
I'm so sorry, Rick. By now I should not be, but it is always somewhat surprising how an expression of sorrow can be so beautiful. This expression is no different and is beautiful beyond words. I hope you print this for your niece along with your words. You and your family are in my thoughts.
Oh, so sorry to hear this news. I have not been to some of your photos till today. Putting your niece and family in my prayers...such a difficult thing to accept.
