I took the trash out this evening and I happened to look up at the sky. I was amazed at the spectacular view. The clouds were mostly dark except for this opening of blue. I couldn't help but get my camera. Once I uploaded it onto my computer I played with it a little bit more and brightened up the blue just a tad more, and then played with the focal zoom. The outcome made me think of a doorway to Heaven. Who says there is not rewards for doing what your Wife asks?
Wow! Perfect editing to make this doorway to heaven! And just think of all the other photo ops you will have if you keep working your way down your "honey-do" list ;-)
It does look like maybe "the light" will be the next thing one might see thru these clouds!!! Making the wife happy has all different types of rewards -- many of them unexpected like your photo.

I love pictures like this. My dad took one on his camera phone because it looked like an Angel and the sun was glowing behind it. It's truly amazing what we can see in the sky sometimes. Absolutely beautiful picture!!!!
I LOVE this! Wow - the sky is just amazing sometimes. I'm noticing the sky so much more now since I started this project. When my husband and I are driving somewhere I'm always commenting on the clouds or the sunset, etc. etc. You got a wonderful shot and processed it perfectly.

You make me smile for seeing the rewards in yout daily life...even while doing the chores. This is beautiful, & I can see why it looks like Heaven's Portal!
