I didn't want to bore you with another photo from my light tent, so on the way home I stopped by a nearby lake. As I walked around I enjoyed the warmth of the sun. It was quite blinding, and I was having a hard time getting a half decent photograph, but at one point I stepped behind a tree, and when I looked out over the lake, I really liked how the sun gleamed on the water and highlighted the branches of this tree. Looking at this photo you would never know it was so bright, but it actually caused a silhouette effect. The weather is getting so nice out there, and I am getting eager for everything to bloom and come to life. Hope you have a great night.
Even before I read your description I was going to say that I loved the water and it looked like the sun was finally coming out after a long winter. So I think you totally captured what you were going after!
So very pretty Rick. I've done that before, photographed into the sun and can't see what I'm getting, it's so blinding. Great job on the capture, love the dewy look on the limbs.
