I know there's not much we can do about it, and I know prices are higher elsewhere, but it is still quite frightening to think how high the prices will go before the end of the year.
I have been thinking of taking a photo of our pump prices. I think we are lower than the rest of Canada but it's hard to swallow when you pay $1.139 per litre.
Cheaper than here. :( And we're headed to Florida (driving) in two weeks. Sigh. Maybe we won't eat while we're there. Great title, btw. And a good capture for the project. Let's hope you can get another one when the prices go way down (yeah, right).
In Australia I paid $1.70 litre yesterday. Just crazy...Great shot Rick. Be great to look back on at the end of your project and see how the price differs. Lets hope by then they will have gone down....I know I know, wishful thinking =)
Perfect title and great sign of the times shot! My daughter just told me that someone is trying to get a million people to not buy gas on March 15. Not sure if this will help, but it will feel good to do something.
This makes me glad that I don't drive my car very often. We filled our tank for the first time since Christmas two weekends ago, and we were shocked to see the prices at the pump. I remember back when I was in college and gas was under $1.00!
I'm so sick of hearing city -dwelling economist tell us to suck it in and pay, as they board their metro systems. It's tough when you live in the country and have no choice but to drive 70 miles roundtrip to get to work, a doctor's, groceries...Nice sign theme shot, it will be historical in another decade.
Well said! By the way....people in the city spend a lot of time stalled in traffic as they drive to the Metro and some drive 3 hours each way just to get to work. Trade offs wherever you live.
Hi Rick, sorry it has taken me so long to get back to replying to your comments. I am so grateful you 'felt' the strange need to start that thread and I feel no pressure whatsoever about posting and commenting but instead great blessings and encouragement from the 365 community. I am heading into a phase of treatment that is going to be very difficult and I'm quite scared so it is a great distraction to get my camera out when I can and upload and see other's photos when time and health permits. A God-incidence I would say (instead of co-incidence) just what I needed to help me get through what lies ahead of me. Thank you for your ongoing support and prayers, Bless You xo SJ
