It was another beautiful evening, not quite as humid, and there was a slight breeze which made the evening stroll enjoyable. My favorite time to go out for a walk is in the early evening hours, just before the sun goes down. I love being surprised by the beauty of the sun going down. Tonight was no exception. I followed a path that winds along through a wooded area, and around the lake. There were people fishing, people walking their dogs and people riding their bikes. As I approached the opening, returning to my car, my eyes fell upon this beautiful scene. I was hoping to be able to capture the beauty of what I saw. When I arrived home, I downloaded my photos, and I was pleased. Such a beautiful ending to a walk, and to a rough day. I love nature. I hope your day was a positive one. Have a great night, and a wonderful tomorrow.
So nice to see that the rest of the world is having nice sunny days,, with lovely strollable evenings...

Such a pretty photo Rick. Starting to think that you need to adopt me so I can live over your side of the country..
I love the dark silhouettes of the leaves against the sky! Simply perfect, Rick. Sorry you had a tough day, but I'm really glad your walk helped balance it.
@nectarfizz Bekki, actually it was brighter than it looks. Shooting into the sun gives it the silhouette effect, the sun was partly behind the clouds, so I was able to avoid the typical flare you get.
