Our lives are like a finely composed piece of music, and we happen to be the composer. Though each piece will vary in its mix of sharps, flats, quarter, eighth, sixteenth notes, major, minor, and perhaps some diminished chords, and arpeggios, it will be up to us to learn, understand, and master the general rules of musical composition in order to bring it all together. And it is so important to understand that not all songs end up on the top ten list, but all deserve to be heard, and most are pleasing to the ear.
Oh, I love this shot....FAV! and I have to share a quote I posted on FB the other day as it seems to fit your comment perfectly...
From a book I just finished - "Almost Heaven" by Chris Fabry. It is up for a Christian book award. There were many good passages, but I esp liked this one:
"I believe every life has hidden songs that hang by twin threads of music and memory. I believe in the songs that have never been played for another soul. I believe they run between the rocks and along the creek beds of our lives. These are songs that cannot be heard by anything but the soul."
@aaroo4 Aarti, It is my opinion that the notes are already written, and the piece already composed, but we are free to change the arrangement, to re-write the tune and its style.
@hwy61 Karen, thank you for referencing that site. I watched the clip. I must go back and check it again to see if they offer an audio version of the book. It sounds like it would be a pleasurable read or listen.
Fabulous...and more fabulous are your words. I know that this is true. It's just hard to be patient. @hwy61 Wow! This seems like a must read book for me. Thanks for sharing.
@47thyear Thank you. If you'd only know. LOL. I probably took about 40 photos until I had one that I even liked. I fainally focused on this one. thanks again.
