Nature's Intricate Details by digitalrn

Nature's Intricate Details

I was sitting out on the porch this afternoon watching our two little Yorkies running around the yard playing, and when our neighbor came out, Kiko, the black one, ran up to the fence warning him to stay his distance. Kiko grew up with our Daughter's Pit Bull, so he thinks he's one, LOL. He really does. I witnessed Kiko one day take down a German Shepherd without hesitation after he wandered innocently into our yard. The poor Shepherd just put himself right down to the ground into complete submission. Anyway, sorry I went off on a rabbit trail. While I was sitting on the porch I noticed my Wife's one potted plant was full of what looked like new sprouts. I was intrigued by all the fine details on the stems. I thought it would make a neat close-up. It's a little busier than I like, but still, I think nature is full of so many small, intricate details that are so beautiful. All too often we miss them. Hope you all had a wonderful 4th of July. For most of us, it's time to go back to work tomorrow. Life is grand.
Rick, this is so beautiful!!

Lovely Greens Rick, I thought that the red must have been from another plant in the background. Those delicate hairs are so lovely to see in our photos. Really a standout photo.
