I had to have at least one posting for this week's theme. The other day when I was sitting on the back porch, the sun was shining nice and bright, so I knew there was little to no chance for a rainbow that day. As I sat there thinking about the theme, I decided to play around with the sun and a CD to see what kind of results I could come up with. I was surprised at how well it worked, and I even caught a little glimpse of myself in the CD. Last evening there was a similar photo posted by AikiUser (Jen) so I apologized in advance for posting mine after she had already posted her photo. I think she is the forgiving type???
What an imaginative idea. I think the light bulb was actually invented by several different people around the world so you and Jen can share the honors for this.
Fabulous theme shot, Rick! The themes always stump me, but you are an ace at them every week. I did have one idea for the rainbow one, but it will require me driving a bit, which I may or may not have time to do.
Wonderful for the theme Rick. Yes I have skies like your currently in fact getting up to 19 today was not going to give me a Rainbow either. While I was watering I was thinking about how I might create one myself.
It is a really great capture, with all those light streaks and rainbow colors. I had to chuckle as this was my photo of the day last night. :) Great minds think alike, except mine was not as creative...
