Well, it was a long gruesome day of teaching, but we made it through. Another full day tomorrow, and then about 4:30pm we head back home. Tonight we made our way into Pittsburgh, walked around, I believe it was Station Square, and then took the railcar, and rode up the incline to Mt. Washington. It afforded a beautiful view of the city, Three Rivers, and the stadium, etc. I took many photos, but I believe this is my favorite. Again it is in B/W, but I like its crispness. After we walked around awhile, we then took the cable car back down and had dinner at Houlihan's. I had a delicious Filet Mignon dinner. I cannot remember the last time I had a good steak, and this one was excellent, with a great fresh salad and steamed brocoli. It was a great end to a busy day. Hope your day was good too. Will catch up on commenting tomorrow. Have a wonderful night.
You captured Pittsburgh wonderfully! So glad it all went well here. :) I used to live on Mt. Washington, and took the incline to the bottom to Station Square daily and would catch the trolley into town. If ever you are back in town, and have time, I would recommend walking thru The Strip District. So many other places to go to. Have a safe trip home.
You're right, Rick. The "crispness" on this is just beautiful! What a picture. Great job and happy to hear that you enjoyed the whole experience (now that you've made me hungry, that is!!).
This is a beautiful cityscape, and I love it in b&w. Glad you had such a nice dinner after a long, long day. Hope you rest and relax tonight and have a safe trip home.
I was going to recommend the cable car and completely forgot, so I'm glad you found it! That is definitely the best place to go in Pittsburgh! You captured a great picture of it too. It brings back good memories from my undergrad days!
Love the black and white... and you did have a great view. There's just nothing like a good steak - that sounds so good to me. Glad you had fun after your long day. :)
This is lovely, Rick. The b& w is perfect for this shot. So glad you're enjoying yourself a bit too. Gary always made the best of business trips and we all got a gift when he returned. That we liked a lot. =)
Conferences can be long and tiring. I am off to the national case management conference in Toronto next week.
Safe travels for tomorrow Rick.
nice view !!!
