This is one of the roads I frequently travel. It's a bit out of the way, but I love the drive through the hills. It can be so relaxing being out in the open countryside, driving a few extra miles just to unwind after a long day at work. This one is actually in B/W and with the addition of texture, it gave it a nice blue tint.
Amazing theme shot, Rick! You knocked it out of the ball-park with this one. Great color and texture. (And I hate to keep asking ...but how did you get that sky?? Picnik?!)
Nice shot Rick- love how the road just leads you out of the picture. The additional texture is a nice twist- the crinkle in the paper actually looks like a mountain! And I like how it adds a little tint in there. Great shot and processing.
Very nice. And I almost always take the long way home now. I just turn down a road I've never been on before and drive until I make it home or get lost and tired of driving, then I turn on the GPS and tell it to take me home.
That sky looked like a wrinkled napkin! Love it. So glad you have answered the questions about processing the past few days. I thought I paid for the upgrade for picnik, but textures are not a choice, so I must investigate this further.
Country roads are my favorites and when ever time allows we take them rather than the highways. love the way the road curves almost into nothingness if I may put it that way.
enjoy your weekend.
Amazing drive with the trees either side like that, might be a bit spooky in the night if you didn't know the road !!! Great texture ....I put my finger on the back as it just looks like wrinkled paper !!
nice processing ... =)
enjoy your weekend.
