Today it warmed up. It was in the 40's, and let me tell you, much of the snow melted. I went out for a late afternoon walk around the old tunnel, and the setting sun cast its beautiful glow all over the remaining snow, and the colors still shined nicely. It was a gorgeous day afterall, and I was able to get out to enjoy the remaining beauty of the Fall colors. I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.
Instant fave! The composition of this one is exquisite! You have winter in the foreground coupled with autumn in the back. And those reflections are killer. I really love this one!
Nicely done. Autumn is receding, on the other side of the river, and winter is right at your feet. Perfect shot to show for this strange weather weekend.
Wonderful composition...love the snow, fall colors and the lovely reflections! As always, Mr. Rick, beautiful photo! Did any of the trees in your area break? Funny here...we are 8 miles from DC - no snow here but DC had some.
