Now why did this duck decide to turn around and go the other way? It's a female, LOL. It's her perogative. You going to argue with that? I literally had to stop in the middle of the road to allow these jokers time to get off the road, and it looks like her man was trying to straighten her out a bit, a little face off I would say.
I thought they were kissing at first, so your explanation made me chuckle. Maybe she knows something they don't know. Never underestimate the power of female intuition, Rick.
This is rather comical- but it could also be said that the males are all heading in the wrong direction because they wouldn't ask for directions, while she on the other hand, has realized the mistake and is now headed in the right direction because she asked! lol Great capture Rick!
Maybe it was her trying to straighten him out."Now just where do you think you're going? I told you you weren't allowed to go out with the guys tonight!"
Maybe they stopped to debate why the ducks did -- or didn't -- cross the road!
Seriously -- there's a little group of geese who stick pretty close to the retention pond behind the building where I work. From time to time they walk across the street. I am always grateful that people stop to allow them time to cross!
@sassyinthecity LOL.
