Most of the day remained grey, and dreary which did not appear to offer much hope for sunshine, but early this evening the sun came through, and the day ended beautifully. It was still a little on the chilly side, but as the sun began to set this evening. I caught a glimpse of this beautiful farm with the sun casting a nice shadow on the backside of this barn. With all the rain we've had during the past four days, everything is turning a dark green, and as you can see, things are growing.
My kind of setting ... yes, your crops are coming up. Way ahead of us here. Beautiful composition ... a perfect way to end the day. This is so relaxing. I can see why people love farming.
We had a very overcast beginning to our day here in Vt. too- but it ended with some sun as well. What a blessing! This is a happy shot for me- a nice reminder that home is waiting for me when my "work" here is done. There is an RN at Dad's place that could be your cousin Rick! I couldn't believe my eyes! And comparing the way he treated my father to the things I've read here from you, I have a feeling you are both very similar in the ways you do your job. Pretty shot!
I love the different colours these two trees are... such opposites in all ways possible; and yet still very beautiful and contrasting against the sky, the red ground and the barn. I love this photo.
Those trees look so lush! Ours are just starting to get baby leaves, but already I'm noticing how different everything looks and the way it is affecting the light in photos. This is such a serene pastoral scene.
