When I looked at these clouds on the computer, I immediately thought of that song by R Kelly, I Believe I Can Fly. We had a pretty bad storm late this afternoon, and the clouds were really moving in, thick and fast. I am always so fascinated by their formations, and often times the appearance of such great depth.
We had clouds like this today .. only they were white and fluffy against a blue sky! These are so beautiful, Rick. And B&W is perfect for this one. I love that song ....it does go with the photo.
I'm really starting to love cloud shots in b/w or monotone. This is beautiful. We got that storm too. Had to turn the computer off just in case as the lightning was right overhead. Wish it'd turned into a cloud shot for me too!
I would fave this a hundred times if I could, Rick. It's so brilliant, moody and evocative. I love clouds too, but they are rarely so moody here. This makes me think of thunderstorms, which are also seldom seen on the Cape. That song plays in my head fairly often. It's one of my favorites...
I love your title today; wouldn't that be a great blog! Regarding your clouds, I can usually find pictures in them. In yours I see a baby peep with a sparklie beek. Thanks for posting, I enjoyed it!
Those are nasty looking clouds.. it's been raining of and on all day.. we were back at the flea market again and when we got out the car next to us pointed down at our car. so Hans got out and oh no we had a flat tire...it poured like cats and dogs.. our insurance would pay for a tow to a garage but the guy we're buying from told Hans it would take hours before they get here so he offered to help Hans with the change of tire..we had a donat in the car.. I felt sorry for Hans and the vendor as both of them got soaked. now wasn't that nice of the fellow to offer to help him...afterwards we marched right back in and bought some more from his stand. then we drove to Wal-Mart where Hans had an oil change a few days ago and the next day went for some tire balancing as he felt some vibration driving. so they fixed his tire and I still cant believe it...NO CHARGE.
