No it's not dandruff, but it does look like it. He had been out in the yard during a bit of a snow dusting and then came up on the porch to check things out from a higher perspective, and still had a few snowflakes on him. Poor guy had to go to the Vet yesterday. Every since his haircut last week, he's been having trouble with his one ear, and then I detected a slight odor, so I figured it was probably an ear infection. Diagnosis correct. He had himself an injection which he did not like, and then had his ears cleansed and antibiotic drops put in them, and now he has a 10 day regimen of medication. Today already he's feeling better. For $152.00 I would hope it helped, but they are like our own kids, so why wouldn't we want what's best.
Sweet picture. Love the contrast with the background. I guess you got off easy with a bill less than $200 these days. And as you say, we have to do right by those who depend on us.
Yes you love them as much as a child and you hurt when they hurt. maybe that haircut in this weather wasn't such a good idea. lets hope he gets better real soon. poor little pup!
This makes a sweet picture that tells us something abut the weather as well! I'm with you Rick...our pets deserve the same good medical care as we'd want for our kids, and bless our Vets who know how to treat them so well!
Awww- cute shot. Yes, it seems expensive to non-pet owners, but you are absolutely right in taking care of your little buddy because they do become a member of the family and you love them as such. God has placed them in your care so they deserve it!
your right, they are like our own children!! I spent $1200 getting a fish hook removed from my dogs belly!!! talk about expensive!!! But...it was either that or risk having him passing it and ripping his insides up as the hook made its way out :( I wasnt up for that!!! this photo is adorable!
This is a really, really cool shot, Rick. I really, really like it. The color palette is simple (which is a compliment from me -- I tend to like such images) but it's provocative because of what it doesn't show. Really great post, Rick! Can't believe I'm fav'ing a behind shot of a dog, but there you go. Like the swirls of hair. What a super shot!
