Old Time Lebanon

This cute little log cabin sits at the end of one our streets in town. It was built back in the mid 1700's, and it still stands today. They recently began doing some work on it. Once it is finished they will open it to the public for tours. I realize the tour will be short, very short, but still it will be neat to go inside and sense its significance to our town.
It is an amazing testament to the workmanship of the pioneers! Looking forward to when you get a glimpse inside!

I love historic buildings and love it when towns take steps to preserve them. Great shot and I look forward to seeing pics of the finished project.

Amazing that it survived all these years without so called "improvements".

I used to work in an early American replica village. There was always a momentary pause as you walked up to the old log cabins- especially the one that had a 5 foot black snake that liked to sun on the roof! This looks very well kept.
