Well after giving the one window its first coat, Josie came home and when she saw it she said, "Oh my stars! That looks like crap!" I must admit, I wasn't sure I was going to be able to tolerate looking at that color for the next couple of years. It was not like the sample we based our choice on, or should I say Josie. So we brought home three alternate samples, and I put it on the woodwork. The very top one was the one we originally picked, actually looks like mustard. The three across the bottom were the alternate samples we brought home today. We settled on the one on the bottom right, and I must say, now that I have the window repainted, and some of the door, much better. Fortunately Home Depot allowed us to exchange the one full gallon. Thank you Home Depot.
Nice colour choices! You had a great choice to pick from and I'm also glad Home Depot let you exchange the one full gallon... some places don't let you do that.
I once painted a room purple, yea it was supposed to be this deep maroon color - it wasn't. Even better I was in grad school at the time and did it on a day I didn't have class to surprise my husband. Boy was he surprised. That room is blue now. Good luck here.
