I snapped a few photos to show everyone, we are running out o froom to put the snow. We are so thankful that we have off street parking, because those who must park along the street, as you can see, they are running out of place to throw the snow. Now the City is enforcing the 24 hour ordinance. If you do not have your sidewalk cleaned off in 24 hours after a snowfall you are fined $50.00, and you are not permitted to throw it out into the street.
Cities have more complicated problems with snow, huh? If we don't shovel, our mail carrier and newspaper deliverer don't show up. We're in the middle of a blizzard now and the wind is picking up.
Enough already!!! I guess the only option is to pile all the snow from the sidewalks into the middle of your front yard and wait for the big melt. After the snow finally ends, you're going to have one long and messy 'mud' season. :(
And what do you do with all that snow; take it into your living room????? Gorgeous collage which shows very clearly what you have to go through. Our temperature today is around 20C, almost summery.
I actually haven't been out in the car since Thursday!! I am afraid to find out what the parking lots look like...they had huge mountains before Thursday's storm! I just heard we are getting more Monday night!! Crazy! This collage tells the story for sure! Great choices!
Every time I see snpw like this I think of the ash from the Mt. St. Helens eruption which covered portions of Washington state. It looked very similar to this with the main difference being that ash doesn't melt. It was a disposal nightmare.
Yes what are you supposed to do with the snow. Make snowmen? How can you be fined for snow appearing from out of the sky and falling onto your sidewalk? Great photos by the way.
I really like your collage!
