Every once and a while we all need a little support. Yesterday as I was on my way home from work to meet Josie and our Daughter Stef at the ER, I was relieved that our Daughter was nearby to take her Mom to be checked while I made the trip home. We spent 8 1/2 hours in the ER. While we were sitting in there waiting for some of the test results, our Son Peyton walks in. I could tell right away it meant the world to Josie, so we were there together while they tried to figure out what was going on. She rested all day today, still struggling with some nausea and headache. Tomorrow she sees her doctor and we will go from there. Not sure what triggered the event, but it was comforting having both kids there as we all waited together in support of her. And thank you all for your thoughts and prayers.
Just a super composition - do hope things are looking up for Josie and know having your kids there meant lots to all of you. Keeping her in my prayers.
I'll keep your family in my prayers Rick. I hope all is resolved soon.
Wonderful picture. I love the bare branches of winter. They always look like sculptures to me.
Wow, this leaning tree is such a perfect thematic photo for what your family is going through right now. How comforting for Josie to have you and your children all rally for her. That would have made me very happy too. I babysat my granddaughter yesterday because my daughter was having a bad day and the baby was really fussy. I explained to my daughter that we all need support at times. That's what family is for. I hope Josie's doctor is able to figure out what is going on.
Oh my goodness, Rick...you have certainly had a frightening and stressful 36 hours. I'm glad that all the tests came back negative for anything catastrophic. Please know that Josie is in my thoughts...as are you and your family. I hope that Josie continues to improve by the day.
I'm sorry to be reading this so long after, but glad things are improving. It is wonderful to have family with you to give each other strength and encouragement. Wonderful picture to tell the tale.
I know how important family support is in times of uncertainty. Praying for a quick resolution for all of you!
