High Tailing by digitalrn

High Tailing

On my way back to work after my lunch break today I spotted these deer along the road. As I pulled off the road to get their photo they took off. I just caught them before they disappeared. I really wanted to get a shot of the one on the right. She was white with some brown spots, a beauty. If you enlarge it you can see her better. They were a good distance from the road so I had to crop in closer. Not the best photo, but it's the best I could do in this case.
They are having a wonderful time! Did you know the word "caper" comes from the Latin for goat who do plenty of high tailing.

Sometimes it's a personal memory you've captured! And that deer on the left...I've never seen one with that sort of coloration!

I don't think I've ever seen a spotted deer like that. At first I thought it was a goat! Not bad for what you had to work with!

Great action shot - I am surprised the spotted deer has lasted this long - odd coloring!

Wow! How cool! My husband says it's part albino. That's definitely something you don't see every day. What a find!

Wow! I have never seen a deer like that! Is that a different breed or is that partial albinism?
