The Boys woke me up around 6:30 this morning so I rolled out of bed, took them outside, made a cup of coffee, checked out 365, did a few chores while Josie did laundry, then knowing we had a busy day ahead of us we headed out for breakfast. After breakfast we headed for the nursery where we bought what we thought would be our last flower buying excursion. Came back home, Josie began organizing them, then began potting some while I pained the birdbath, cleaned up the bird feeders, and then fixed up the Gnome Garden. After Josie finished potting everything she realized she needed some more ground plants, so guess what. We made a trip back to the nursery for a few more. Came back home and she finished planting. Now they are all in. Right now the corner garden looks a bit flat, almost reminds me of a cemetery, but in a few weeks the Petunias, the Coleus and the Zinnia will get some height. Let the growing begin.
I once read a book 'The Perfect Gardener' - very nice to read. Josie reminded me of it. What a great job she is doing with the garden. It will look beautiful in mid Summer. Lovely collage.
