This pot of flowers had a complete trim a few weeks ago. they dried up and we thought they were goners. I trimmed off all the dried buds and kept watering it, and low and behold they came back brighter and more beautiful.
I left what I thought was a dead plant in the ground for two years (mostly out of laziness I confess) and it started growing the third year! I almost never give up on anything anymore.
You're suppose to get rid of the dried up ones, I guess they still take nourishment out of the soil and not only because they start looking ugly. your plant looks very rich. the color is so beautiful. fav.
