Sadly Abandoned

I've lived in this area all my life and I've passed this little home many, many times throughout the years. It has been abandoned for quite some time now and I never knew the history of it. I finally learned that the house was occupied by a family, they built a home next door, and then the son moved into this small place. Many years back he was tragically killed in an accident and the house has been unoccupied since. Story has it, the house was left as it was when the son was killed. The parents still live next door. I guess it's too hard to let it go. This is all I was told recently.

I agree with everyone, this is very sad. Such a shame to let the house rot away when it could be filled with the life of a new family.

A sad story, but understandable. Sometimes grief overwhelms and it's easier just not to stir it up.
