I couldn't believe all the geese gathered in this field. There must be something very attractive in there. This is just a portion of the group. The gathering continued, another section of this size at least on both the left and the right.
You will always find geese in fields..I see them flying from the lake into the fields and at night coming back in to land .... oh no not on the open water but on the shore of the bay..I've seen many flocks but I guess not in one spot like in your picture.. looks to me they are taking over....
