Yep, this is me, and my wife Josie as we stopped at the first overlook during our trip today to Hawk Mountain Sanctuary. I tried to get her to go out on a higher ledge, but she wouldn't cooperate. We had a great time, though our legs and feet are telling us we are not as young as we used to be. All together it was about a mile hike up the mountain, and then back, which went a little better. I must say, two years ago, and 70 pounds heavier, I would never have made it. It felt good being able to do the trail. A busy night when we got home, took our daughter Stefanie, and her fiancé Pete out for supper, and now I am ready for bed, so I promise I will catch up on all commenting tomorrow.
Wow, you are high and this rock looks as if it is perched on the edge of a deep valley. Glad you were able to step off that rock and retrieve the photo!
Super portrait of you both -love the texture of your *stage* glad you did not step backwards & you got down to enjoy the rest of your evening Love the intensity of the trees in the backdrop !
Wonderful shot! Did you use a tripod? I would be tired, too! I'm just starting to building up my strength again after being so sedentary with my breaks. Good for you two!
