Well, after this posting I have two more and I will have completed two solid years of posting and commenting every day. And I am proud to say I have made it a point to post at least a word or more on everyone that I follow, every day, sometimes catching up the next morning, but nontheless, I think I can say I never missed one. I'm not saying that to brag, but being a nurse, I have this thing about being a little obssessive about things, LOL. I will most likely continue with the project, but I know I must change my strategy a bit by going back to one album, and definitely must find a way to cut back on my on-line time. So be patient as I find that happy medium. I spotted this Momma duck and her little ones, and it appeared as though she was teaching them to go diving. So here it is, bottoms up as year two comes to a close. It has been a life changing experience, and what a great bunch of friends I've found, and have truly grown to love, and appreciate. I don't know that I will ever be able to say good-bye for good.
So cute! They do look all gathered for a lesson! I have noticed how faithful you are about commenting! It is appreciated. I am about to finish year one and I need o
To do something to make myself spend less time on it too. One album would probably help.
bottoms up!! I like it. Congrats on two years. I do not know how you comment so faithfully but I appreciate it. My vacation spot in florida would not let me into 365 for 4 days
I know how you feel Rick. I'm most times on line with 365 for up to 4 hours a day and then I still have to get out there and take some shots. Great effort for you to achieve what you have.
Great shot. I have great admiration for your ability to be faithful with two years of photos and posting! I've really enjoyed your photography and your stories that go along with your shots. You can certainly be proud of a job well done!
You definitely have been faithful to this project. We'll love you just as much if you have to cut back on commenting and posting! Just don't go away for good.
Congrats, Rick. I do so appreciate your comments. I think you were the first person to follow me on 365 and your comments really encouraged and inspired me to keep going. Thank you so much.
Congratulations to you! My schedule this year was so much more demanding and I couldn't keep up with all the comments and time online. I know that I didn't do the same for you....but I know that you were there and I appreciate it so much! I feel like we are all family now. It seems difficult to leave that.
Congratulations Rick. I can't tell you what an anchor you've been to my project. Your faithful comments always help me keep going and have kept me faithful to comment on the ones I follow in the same manner. I think going down to one album will definitely help- and it's a good idea that I may remember when I turn the calendar over to year 3. I'm glad you won't be leaving us altogether because not only are your shots so valuable, so are your insights. God bless you friend! (And I do hope we can meet some day!)
Bottoms up to you too, great shot.. and I appreciate your taking the time to comment on my shots.. even when I have not done so on yours... Your friendly banter and caring manner mean a lot to me..
Hi Rick... Way to go!!! I've been quiet for quite awhile in 365, but could not let this one slide by. I always looked forward to your comments on my photos and the way you always go the extra mile. I understand obsessions and also the need for balance in our lives. I wish you the best in finding yours. Sure am glad you won't be leaving totally after such an accomplishment since I'll be back in July! Love your ducks and your title made me smile. :))
Well, I can honestly say I haven't commented on every photo of everyone that I follow, so you're many more up on me in that regard. I have enjoyed following you and will continue to enjoy your shots as you post them in the upcoming months.
great capture, and well done for getting this far in year 2 - I'm only back for year 2 because I'm out of work, and I'm not sure I'm going to finish it, it will depend on how fast I get back to work and how far I've got before I realise I don't have time - because, yes, this is very time consuming if you want to follow people back and keep in contact. I'm also going to be limiting the number of people I follow and try to keep t down to a reasonable number. One album will probably help a lot.
Great capture. You have been a very faithful commenter and I do appreciate it Rick. I too can be a little.... um, obsessive. Now in my third year - only missed one day - posted late. I didn't connect it with nursing LOL but you must be right. :) But I certainly have not commented daily on the photos of all I follow - well done!
You have got such a close shot here Rick , lots of detail !!! Well done on your long history of 365 ...you are a fantastic & regular commentor of mine & I am grateful of your support !
Yes Rick I can always count on your comments and let me tell you they are really all very appreciated..not a day went by without hearing from you..I hope I`ve been half as good with my commenting but there are unfortunately some days were it was almost impossible to do so..for that I`m sorry..I do hope you stay on at least another year even when it`s only one album and maybe some time off in between..to give it up altogether I also don`t know if I can do it..so I just don`t think about it. congratulation on almost two years Rick. and your picture is fabulous..really like it...so fav. for me.
I'm speechless. If you go away, I will miss you terribly! If so, your last picture was incredibly clever! I won't type a 500 word essay on how much I've enjoyed knowing you; I'll just say, "peace be with you."
As you know i have just completed year 1 - but you are way ahead of me - I look forward to your pictures and comments every day - you are so insightful and generous - congratulations on completing year 2 and looking forward to year 3 however you intend to do it
Oh Rick, my mom told me about this photo and I had to look it up as soon as I got off the phone with her. First, it's a fabulous photo. Second, congratulations on completing year two!!! I hope to do the same, but wow, it's a commitment. I hope you do find a way to balance it all. Maybe just do one album like my mom suggested? I can't imagine doing three. That would be so overwhelming to me. I'm struggling to keep up with one. But I'm glad you will be sticking around. I would miss you SO much if you left. I can not tell you how many days your photo and words have uplifted me, comforted me and helped me to go on. I consider you one of my dearest friends on here and it has been so wonderful to see life through your eyes and to carry you and your family in my prayers.
@carmichaelbev@lauriehiggins You guys are great, and I have learned to apprediate you guys too, and Beverly, I think you have asense of humor that I could really enjoy, at least that's how you come across LOL. One of these days we must meet, somewhere.
@digitalrn@carmichaelbev Oh, Rick, you have no idea. My mum makes me laugh so hard my kids would think I'm crazy if she didn't make them laugh the same way. I actually think that we will meet someday...my brother in on the NY border of PA so nothing is impossible.
To do something to make myself spend less time on it too. One album would probably help.
Congrats on two years young man..
