I was sitting out on the porch tonight with the pups, and I began thinking about life, and how quickly it seems to dance on by. Life can offer so much enjoyment, but I know individuals who spend so much time complaining about everything, and they end up missing so much. It is sad to think that they are not able to enjoy life's simple pleasures. While it is true that life can be busy, and at times produce some drama, in spite of it all, life can be so refreshing. It really has so much to offer. It's not always the big things that mean the most, often times it's the little things. This project has motivated me to make time each day to take in life's little things, to appreciate the things we often take for granted. Life is short, and if we're not careful, life will dance on by.
That is why I like this project also...Not only do I appreciate the little things, but I actually see them! And sometimes, I even go out and create them! This project rocks ! Nice selfie and message!
This project has done the same for me...nicely worded, Rick...and great self-portrait. I try to enjoy each and every day for what it is...and, although sometimes that can be rather difficult, being able to find joy in the small things helps.
Nice shades and hat. what I'm trying to say is that's a nice selfie..your words are ringing so true..I think we have really learned especially on this program to appreciate the small things..they mean a lot.
Who's that handsome guy? My thought on this is, "what else do we have?" With only one life each, we had better pay attention to the details. Love the shot today. It's quite insightful.
After my very long comment on your duck photo, I came to this photo and it really made me smile. Love the noir style selfie a ton (fave), but your words once again just rang so true to me. I took an hour walk with my teenage son today, and I never would have done that if it weren't for 365.
Life is dancing by even when we are careful, so your right...we should make the most of it. We are here just a glimpse of time in the grand scheme of things
