It was a beautiful day today, in fact the weekend was excellent. Today the sun was nice and bright, so I decided to work on this window table outdoors. After giving it a sanding, I put on the first coat. I wasn't sure about the glossy black for the top. We never used black as a color in decorating and painting before, but our Daughter loves black, and she talked us into trying it. I like the look. I think it highlights it quite nicely, and it fits into the color scheme of the kitchen. Now all I must do is give it a second coat tomorrow, and it will be ready for Josie's cookbooks, and a few other odds and ends.
