Power Lines

I'm always trying to avoid power lines, so I loved this article on how to use them in photos!

I love power lines and have always tried to make them work for my photos. They create so many great lines!

There's some I pass while on the freeway that I think are hilarious, I will try and find a place to get off the road and take a photo!

Loved the pictures. I was scolded in here once for showing power lines. Sometimes I try to erase them if there isn't many but sometimes I just let them in the shot. Gives it character. :)

I love power lines. What I mean is that the lines can be used to lead the eye thru a photo or add a bit of hometown charm. Here is one of my first photos using power lines:

I have seen some great shots on 365 incorporating power lines. I liked the way these ones looked at sunset.

Power lines are like any other obstacle. They are annoying when you don't want them, in your shot, but when they are the subject, they can be quite interesting. Here's my take.
