Thanks for sharing. I find this type of photography thought provoking - one enjoys it on the visual level - but also it evokes in my mind stories and "dreams" of imaginary places.
Wonder what is the mix of experience, creativity, imagining, technical knowhow, equipment and money needed to create such images

@stoat - all you really need is a couple flashes. A low powered sb800 has a flash durration of 1/40,000 of a second. It's not quite fast enough to freeze a bullet, but fast enough to freeze just about anything else. (assuming you can keep the ambient light low)

but nowhere near that level. Perhaps i'll try with two flashes !
