@mollytrudge well, a lot of people here won't follow you unless you stick around. being active on this site really helps, too. but you just started, and you only have six photos.
it takes time .
Just follow others . 'chat' to them.
And Iike it when 365ers add something about the day/photo/ life. It all helps make YOU personal.
I'm deeply grateful to those who followed me and encouraged me as a VERY raw beginner.
I am sorry if I am confused here, but why would someone put photos on that are not theirs? What is the point of doing 365 if you are not taking your own shots???
I had a look at your photos, and can see some have come from the internet - perhaps a site like tumblr would be better for you than on here - you can post anything on there. You can see photos you like and repost them...
You will need to upload photos you take every day, and like others have said, comment on people's photos, enter competitions, comment on threads. All these are great ways to get people to follow you.
Molly if you will look at Browse Latest you can see what others have uploaded and get lots of ideas of subjects for pictures. Look forward to seeing the pictures that you take.
I notice that you're responding to people but you're not tagging them by hitting the reply link next to their names. Make sure you do this or they won't know that you've replied to them.
@superbeyotch you would be stunned how often it happens. I think that the person who did it here just didn't understand this site, but some people make it all the way to the pop page. I don't understand how getting attention for someone else's photo could possibly make someone feel good about them selves, but it does happen.
maybe , @mollytrudge you could do a macro flower shot or - do what I do - maybe take some of your pets, or anything ou see that you think "oh ! i could do a macro shot on that!" and take pictures of anything, you will find alot more people will comment on your photos. Make a face out of fruit?

I did that.
