I'm entering a local juried photo exhibition and you are limited to 5 submissions. The categories are Landscape, Portrait, Nature, Abstract, Photojournalism and Architecture. I'm leaning towards these, but I thought I'd get some opinions from my fellow 365ers :)
But there are probably 5 or so others that I keep going back to... argh! You know when you look at your own stuff for too long and you can't tell what's good or bad anymore? I think I am there.
My opinion as a complete amature: Top photo, gorgeous, keeper! Second photo, very interesting lines, especially since there is only one crack in the door. Third photo, I don't quite get. It kind of reminds me of some of my first attempts at trying to photograph moving lights at night? Fourth photo, looks painted, but again, not sure of what, and that may be the point. Last photo has a great feel to it. Very eerie, and the perspective of the shot makes it look like you would have almost needed to be in the sky to shoot the photo. Very cool. I wish you the very best of luck. Please remember, I am only looking at these as someone looking at pictures, not someone who "knows" what they should be looking for.

I love your first one the most, its a fantastic photo. I personally wouldn't put 3 if it were me. But we all have different styles so take no offense!
I like 1, 2, and 5. I don't understand 3. However, I like to look at realistic looking photographs. 4 is not my favorite, but I think I see where you were going with this one. I looked at all of your photos (and liked them). I chose two of these as my other favorites: The one Mae, Judith, and Dawn B. like. The one coffee one Christine likes. I wish you the best with the photo exhibition.
Thanks everyone! You have been really helpful! #1 is definitely my own most favorite. I showed them to a couple of friends as well and nobody like #3 so I think that one is out, LOL. I'll just enjoy it myself :D I do like "Waiting for Santa" and the crooked trees. I might swap out the creepy tree too. I have another week to decide.

I just wanted to thank everyone again for the advice and say: YES!!! They picked me!!! Ironically, in the end it was this one that was selected, which I swapped in at the last minute in a moment of indecisiveness. LOL
