ERIN!! That's super cool! I love your video! What a trip down memory lane. I look at this and just know I have to continue 365 next year - and so do you! I so look forward to your next 365 photos! I loved seeing some of the things we've done together in this slideshow, memories of dear Jack, and all your wonderful photos. There were even a couple I must have missed throughout the year. This is fantastic, what beautiful photos you have (I don't think I saw any throughout the year). The first link worked perfectly for me too. I did find they went a little quick though, but perhaps that was because I hadn't seen them before and I wanted to look a little longer at each one :) I'll just have to follow you for next year.
Erin, thank you for the inspiration! With two days left until I end my 365 project, I have been meaning to figure out a way to display my work and this is truly the best. I'm looking forward to finalizing mine the project, as well as my video in a couple of days!
Here are some tips if you plan to do an animoto video,
1. Save images from full size view of your 365 project for best quality.
2. The limit of photos is 300 for that site, so I couldn't use all of my photos.
3. They have free songs but you may also upload one saved as an mp3 file.
4. When you save your 365 photos they are automatically in order (thanks to how they file names are called- thanks ROSS!)
5. You are able to use regular speed, slower, or faster. I had to use faster to make my 300 images fit in one song.
6. You can only upload one song, however if you want more time, createa file on some editing program to put the songs you want together. (This was too difficult for me, and I wanted my video to be one song length) I used faster speed, one song 4 mintues long, and 300 photos.
7. Finally, pay $3 extra for a higher resolution video (480 p) It looks better in large view on tvs, dvds, or full screen computer.
I LOVED your video of your pics! I found it searching for help on how people have posted these type videos. I made one in a nice program called ProShow Gold and uploaded it to Youtube, for it to then block it due to the fact I used a song owned by Warner Music Group...but I own the disk and have for years...so feel like we should be able to use it but I guess the law says we cannot. Youtube has some audio you can replace your blocked a udio with and I have done that now...will link to it on my last day coming up on June 21. But I might just an animoto...they are cool! But ...did you do the free one? And how many music choices were there? And I'd have to redo my show too..and it took a long time already. Thanks for any advice you can give me. And...I hope you are having a great summer!
