Senior Moment Recorded for Posterity?

Have you ever stumbled upon a photo in your camera that you can't remember taking but you know you did? If so, I'd love to see them. I found one last night....

Not sure this qualifies exactly, but it says something about the evolution of our hardware (and how long I've been having senior moments!!). I had a shot of the Louvre in Paris and I wanted to enlarge it but I couldn't find the negative. I don't know how many times I went through scores of negative strips from my SLR only to come up empty. Just so I could say I check 'em all, I checked the negs from the P&S I had taken and there it was. I didn't remember using that camera but that's how good the P&S was!

Every photo brings me back to the moment I snapped it. That means I have thousands of memories from the past 7 years! This photo is strange, because I remember the circumstances surrounding taking the photo, I was snapping so much, I didn't actually know I took this photo until I uploaded on the computer. It's a terrible photo and if I were to do it again, I'd process it. On the other hand, it caught an expression on my son, I have only seen once.

I confess that I do this too many times to share...my worst problem is trying to get my eyes to focus on manual setting, many of them are still blurring and I do better somedays with auto..I am not even THAT old yet.

I took this one while I was driving, so I didn't even know what I had until I stopped and looked back at my shots. I think I achieved what I was trying to capture. though not the best idea.
