Show me your pics of places discovered off the beaten track. Its amazing whats right under your noses. So when your out mooching about what have you discovered.
Here's one of mine, this was the living quarters of two brothers who ran an Inn together.
This place had been empty for over 20 years.

The last remaining building of what was Royal Naval Air Station Osprey, Portland, England. This was the air traffic control tower, the site is where the Sailing Events for the 2012 Olympics will be based. Shot on Miranda MS-2 Super, Kodak Gold 200

I live on an ex airbase in Oxfordshire, and half the buildings are adandoned and derelict...this is one I took waaayyy back ...

@gh0st thats the one! They are going to start pulling it all down in the next 6-12 months and reuilding (new houses - boring). i must take some more photos before all that lovely dereliction disappears!

This is place is rapidly becoming Lost in Time before it was even built, the developers went bust half way through construction. A bunch more on my Flickr Here should you wish to look

This was a window of a very old house (or out-structure?) It only has two walls up and filled about 4 feet high with building rubbish (I think it collapsed at one time). Many of the buildings in our neighborhood were built in the mid to late 1800s and early 1900s. No idea how old this structure was.
