Remember my post "It Finally Happened!"? I'd finally gotten a Bald Eagle on my glove and posted a picture of Patriot and prattled on about the experience. I never got the pictures from my co-worker that took them. He's a bit of a technophobe and the idea of getting his camera near a computer gives him the willies. Yeesh! Anyway, I did get another opportunity and this time I had my co-hort take the pictures with my own camera.

WOW! Awesome! Is the bird heavy? I have often wondered about that because it's so big. Look at that beak. It looks dangerous. I can see why it's a symbol of the USA. It's a powerful bird.
@dmortega That beak is powerful but it's those feet that we worry about the most. 2000 lbs psi right there on my hand. She weighs 8 lbs. About a gallon of milk. You hold a gallon of milk out like I'm holding Sanibel and see what it feels like.
