I'm not a betting girl, but based on the below description, which I found by clicking on the picture, my guess is that the piano is in the water.
On another shoot with Simon Woolf as part of the course. He had arranged with singer/songwriter Sean Preston to do some poses with a prop piano in the water which they set fire too later as well, so cool. I thought this looked like it could be an album cover.
Again, I am not a betting girl, and I'm also not very bright, but hey.
On a side-note, I've been trying to get my hands on an old upright (not grand - too large) that I can strip internally (for weight) and then take to strange places for shoots. I love pianos in odd environments for photos...
The lighting is coherent as well as the piano reflection in the water. looks like the real deal. Helen's photo description also says "prop piano", so it's probably empty on the side. just something they use as part of the photography course.
I think we have all missed the most significant part. Helen is in NZ and yeah, New Zealanders do some odd things so a Piano in water is probably not such a strange idea. ;)

Too true. Pianos are awesome.
(But no one's "stripping" mine - that's for sure!! haha)
