I recently bought a Mini which has become a focus in my project when I'm feeling uninspired! He is the 3rd classic Mini I've owned and is my pride and joy....

The day I bought him...

The day he came home...

Making friends with a new 'Mini'...

Having a little play...

Cool dash...

Another play...

@manek43509 Love the way you've done your first photo! And it looks like you have all the gadgets going, unlike me as I don't even have a cigarette lighter!!

This is my partners baby, and she loves it!!..

I found this one on the side of the road. Was thinking of bringing it home.....I think a coat of paint and it will be good as new !! :-)

This is Roxy. It's been a while since I've photographed her - time to get her cleaned up and do a shoot!

I love my Lotus - we've been together for nearly 3 years. I've only got 'arty' views of her, but as I'm feeling a bit uninspired today, maybe I'll take a photo of all of her.

Oh Boy! That really isn't something you need to say to me...in fact you may be very sorry
March 30th, 2012
Sadly this car doesn't belong to me, but I had a great time photographing it!

@achilleos I've heard they are lovely to drive - not as bumpy as mine!
@sjodell I would be hopeless at driving a big vehicle like that!
@danacarruthers I really love this pic - bet someone really loved that car once :-(
@melissapike @polarvrtx I'm glad I'm not the only one that gets my car to pose for photographs!
@thebluegnu LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the mini - how did you edit to look like that - so cool!
@hehe1308 When you drive a Lotus I guess it has to be arty shots! Cool!
@swilde With a pic like that I wouldn't be sorry to see more - great car!
@limpet365 That car looks amazing! (almost as good as mine!!)
@john244 Wow! That was a cold day - | think I would cry if I saw my mini that cold!

Not my car...if only!!

March 30th, 2012
@elsbels Very nice! Every November there is a veteran car run from London to Brighton (goodness knows why they don't have it in the Summer) but it is always great to see the old vehicles that people have restored and clearly really loved.
March 30th, 2012
@taniahudson Your welcome, some great vehicles on here. My image is the Cooper (s) and on the very rare occasion that I’m allowed to drive it I do find the suspension on the hard side, A very cool car though..
March 30th, 2012
@achilleos If you've ever driven a classic Mini you will know they are very different to the new ones - noisy, rattly, bumpy but SO cool - like driving a rally car and so much fun!
March 30th, 2012
I found this 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air on display in a dealer's showroom -- and couldn't resist asking for permission to take it's portrait! :-)

March 30th, 2012
@chackmann Beautiful! What a shame you couldn't have driven it away from the showroom too!
March 30th, 2012
It was fun to take pictures at the auto show, but so so crowded.

March 30th, 2012
To be absolutely honest - I have no idea. It was one of my first efforts in photoshop and I just played and pushed with tones and colours and wah-lah that was my end result. I probably couldn't do a re-do if I tried. :)
March 30th, 2012
@thebluegnu I've only had photoshop a short while so I'll have to play around some more! I'm planning on getting some shots of the mini and making them like your pic and the pop-art one I did blown up to posters then framed to put in the garage - my mini will have the coolest storage space ever!
March 30th, 2012
@jupiter394 My boys would have loved that car show!

I don't have enough money to afford a car at this time, so this will have to suffice.

March 30th, 2012
Not my car but hope to have an old Jeep someday to drive around in the mountains!

This was an old pic I posted, along with a poem that my Grandad wrote after my first Mini was torched by vandals....

I had a little Mini
The finest ever seen,
I loved my little Mini;
It was coloured Racing Green

Chequered flags adorned it
The headlamps shone so bright,
It was almost like my lover
As we progressed through the night

We travelled on together
In sunshine and in rain,
I loved my little Mini
It never did complain

I cherished my dear Mini;
Its body shone like mad,
I caressed it and I stroked it,
I wiped its bottom with a rag

Alas one night it left me,
It really made me cry
No time to say farewell my sweet,
as it motored to the sky

Oh yes, It’s up in heaven,
where all good Mini’s go
In that celestial garage
While I am left below

It passed away so sudden,
My little Mini friend
I missed its own Cremation,
It was lonely at the end

I’ll never have another love,
half as sweet as you
My darling little Mini,
I loved you through and through

Perhaps I’ll get another,
But darling don’t you cry
You’ll always be my first love,
my Mini in the sky
