I love graveyards and over the years taken hundreds of pictures in them. If you read the headstones, they all tell a story about the people that once lived in that town.
Went to visit the old family plot this Memorial Day and they had marked all veterans graves with a flag. It was so sad to see this one with no name or date, just looked liked an old lump of clay formed into some sort of marker.
... abolishment of a previous era resulting in visual manifesto of chaos ... once a place of worship and rest, now sadly adandoned - graves working themselves out of the ground ...
This one makes me sad.. so neglected.
This poor guy has just a brick.
I must get back to our cemetery in town that dates back to the civil war.
