Okay I'm new to this and it may seem like a silly question :) But i just recently upgraded to an ace and it says you get to edit with picmonkey. But it didnt give me a login, ive tried using the email i used to sign up for 365 but nothing! help please? haha
Thanks -Emily
I don't think I ever had to log in, I just go there. To be honest, I have only gone there a couple of times and it's taken forever for it to load a picture, so you may just have to be patient with it :)
You now have to pay a monthly fee to use the fancy" bits of picmonkey. There was quite a discussion (which I can't seem to find) - its something like $4.99 per month. Can someone please link the previous discussion as it had free options that you might like to use.
If you go straight to 'Edit a Photo' you can upload the your photo and do quite a bit of editing for free, without having to sign in.
Some of the advanced features are for paid users only but on the whole there is a lot you can still use.
You only have to login to PicMonkey if you are paying the monthly fee of $4.99. Otherwise you just upload a photo and edit as you wish.
I have recently changed from PicMonkey to iPiccy (because of the now limited access to editing options) and find it much much better. It's just as simple but has many many more features and options available for editing.
As an experiment, I tried to edit a photo by clicking on "edit with Picmonkey" in the info section on the right of the page. It took me into Picmonkey and allowed me to use any of the "royal" effects with no problem. I think this will only work if you are an Ace member however. I tried Ribbet, but it kept freezing up :( iPiccy is great though. Hope this helps ..:)
Here's the original discussion started by Cromwell a few weeks ago. I was disappointed that Picmonkey decided to go to such a pricey fee when Ribbet and iPiccy offer similar features for free and are just as easy to use. It looks like Ribbet will at some point charge as well, but if it's anything like it was before, it will be quite reasonable. iPiccy has always been free though and looks like it will continue to be so.
I just tried a test edit with PicMonkey and, as @cazann says, it seems to allow you to edit with all the 'royal' or advanced effects if you're an Ace member. Just go to the panel at the right of your photo, click on Edit with PicMonkey, and it will take you there without your having to sign in. @olivetreeann@sewsharyn@gphelps5@joluise
@emmy555@grizzlysghost just posted this for me: If you are referring to editing a photo with Picmonkey, the option is to the right of your photo. Click on one of your photos here on 365. On the right is a vertical column with choices, one of which is "Edit Photo With Picmonkey." Click on that and you are on your way!
Some of the advanced features are for paid users only but on the whole there is a lot you can still use.
