Photo date issues

January 2nd, 2013
Is anyone else having a problem with the date of the photo being uploaded defaults to the first of the current month, regardless of the actual date it was taken? For instance, I just took a photo with my iphone and uploaded it. Today is January 2, but it shows the date as January 1.

I've had that happen if the EXIF data was not saved in the photo. I'm not sure how an iPhone handles EXIF, so that may or may not be the issue. It's the most likely culprit, though, since 365 is reading the date the photo was taken out of the EXIF embedded in the image.

No, but my guess is that it will get the date from the image Exif data. If you have stripped the Exif data out of the image during processing (e.g. RAW conversion) then it will default to something. Have you changed your workflow?

It happens like @kannafoot said, if the EXIF data is stripped when you process the pic... Happens all the time with my iphone shots..

Sorry, no way around it that I know of I'm afraid
